Transient cookies provide continuity from page to page and within a single visit, storing information such as your shopping cart items. They do not contain any personal identifying information. We at iMarine are as concerned about Internet Security, and the security of your personal information, as you are. That's why we have instituted several safety precautions to protect you and any information you supply to us.

We make every effort to ensure that your purchase experience at iMarine is secure. We use state-of-the-art data encryption technology to protect against loss, misuse, or alteration of your user information. Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypt the information exchanged between your computer and our database. In addition, we use Internet fraud screening to protect your credit card transactions.

You will also notice that on any page within our site where any personal information is carried, the URL header will change color and show "https:" (instead of "http:") and will show a closed lock symbol indicating an Internet Secure page.

iMarine USA protects your purchase by preventing the shipment of merchandise to a fraudulent address. All billing addresses are verified electronically, and all alternate shipping addresses are verified manually. Any customer shipping to an address that differs from the billing address must put this alternate address on file with his or her credit card company. We will call the credit card issuer to verify that the customer has indeed put the information on file.
